About this video: In this video, I show you exactly how to create a Spigot server in Minecraft 1.13. This will allow you to install any and all Spigot plugins that you want to on a Minecraft 1.13 server. This is our step-by-step guide going over everything from downloading Spigot to setting up the server to even port forwarding the server so your friends can play with you. This will show you everything you need to know to get a Spigot server up and running in 1.13.
First off, you need to download Spigot. You can find the Spigot server download link above. After it has downloaded, create a folder and open up the server file in it. After that, accept the EULA if your server will agree to it, then create a 'run.bat' file using the codes above. Do this in Notepad, and be sure to save this as 'all files'. After that, click on your 'run.bat' file and your server will start.
Next, you will need to port forward your router. We go over every step of port forwarding in the video, but you will do this by opening up the CMD and typing 'ipconfig'. This will then pull up a bunch of numbers. Find your default gateway, and copy that to your broswer. Login to your router, find a link to figure out the login info above, and then, find port forwarding within your router's software. The port you want to forward is 25565, and you want to it on both the TCP and UDP protocols. After that, the hard part of getting a 1.13 Spigot server is over!
Now, all you need to do is get your public IP using the link above, and then, paste that as your Minecraft server IP. You will join your server, and congrats! You now have a Minecraft 1.13 Spigot server!
